Apple has been considering the production of iPhone Pro models in India for the past few years, and now the US tech giant has decided to manufacture the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models in India.

The first batch of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models manufactured in India will be assembled within this financial year. It is expected that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will be mass-produced after the launch. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will initially be imported into the country, but Apple will start assembling them domestically for both the domestic market and export soon after the launch. The iPhone 15 models made in India were available in the country from day one of their launch.
