Google's Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL will have LTPO displays in India

Google's Pixel 9 Pro has a 6.3-inch (1,280 x 2,856 pixels) Super Actua (LTPO) OLED display with a pixel density of 495 ppi, a peak brightness level of 3,000 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz

American technology company Google's Pixel 9 series was launched earlier this week. The base model of this series, Pixel 9, has an Actua OLED display. Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have LTPO Super Actua displays. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL sold in the country were listed with non-LTPO displays.

A report by GSMArena states that the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL in India, Malaysia, and Singapore were listed with different displays than other regions. In India, Singapore, and Malaysia, these smartphones were reportedly listed with Actua Display instead of Super Actua Display (LTPO). However, Google has since changed the display type of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL in these regions to Super Actua display.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch (1,344 x 2,992 pixels) SuperActua (LTPO) OLED display with a pixel density of 486 ppi, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a peak brightness level of 3,000 nits.

All three smartphones are powered by the Tensor G4 and Titan M2 security coprocessor as processors. Google has said that Pixel 8a will also be manufactured in the country. This smartphone was launched in May this year. It replaced Pixel 7a. Google has started manufacturing Pixel 8 in the country. The company has said that it will soon manufacture Pixel 8a in the country as well. However, it is not known when the manufacturing of Pixel 8a will be started. This smartphone has been made available in four colors. Its 128 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 49,999 and 256 GB at Rs 56,999. The company's international manufacturing unit Compal has tied up with Dixon Technologies for this. The initial capacity of its factory is about one lakh units per month. About 30 percent of this will be exported.
