Step 1- First of all open the web browser and go to the WhatsApp web domain by typing web.whatspp.com.
Step 2- Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and tap on the Settings icon in the bottom right corner.
Step 3- Tap on Linked Devices in the Settings menu. Then tap on the Link a Device option.
Step 4- After logging into WhatsApp Web, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 5- Select Settings from the dropdown menu and then tap on Privacy.
Step 6- Scroll down and tap on the Screen lock option.
Step 7- Now a checkbox will appear. Click on it to apply a screen lock.
Step 8- Create a password of 6 or more digits and submit it.
Step 9- Re-enter the password and click OK.
Step 10- Select an auto-lock period from 1 minute to 1 hour.
How To Remove Lock on WhatsApp Web?
Step 1- Open WhatsApp Web and go to Settings. Then click on Privacy.
Step 2- Scroll down to Screen Lock. Click on it and uncheck the box.
Step 3- Enter your WhatsApp password and click OK. Your WhatsApp web lock will be removed.
