We have been using smartphones for many years, but still many people are not aware that the phone storage can get filled even while running apps. Yes, you read it right, this can happen. Today we will give you information about why this happens, how you can find out about this and how you can prevent the phone storage from getting filled?

After buying a phone, we start installing apps in the mobile as per the need, but as soon as you open these apps, temporary files and cache files of these apps start getting created. Due to these cache files, the storage of your phone gradually starts decreasing and you do not even know about it.

Apart from cache and temporary files, there are many other reasons due to which the phone storage starts getting filled. With the arrival of a new update of the app, the file size of the app gradually starts increasing, due to which the apps start occupying more space.

Clearing cache and temporary files is not enough. To make storage in the phone, uninstall the mobile apps that you no longer need. Use cloud storage to store photos and videos. For this purpose, you can use cloud storage like Google Photos and OneDrive.

You can use a microSD card to save storage in the phone. If your phone has an SD card slot, you can transfer photos, videos and other files to the SD card. Turn off automatic downloads, otherwise many apps automatically download photos, videos and other files.

If you want to save storage in the phone, then turn off the automatic downloads option. To clean the phone, clean your phone regularly using a third-party cleaning app.
