Delhi Pollution: AQI Drops To ‘Poor’, Cold Eases In Capital!

The Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi has predicted that it is likely to be in Poor category from 27 to 28 January. And for the next six days, the air quality is likely to be in Poor to Very Poor category.

The national capital's air quality returned to the "poor" category following two days of "moderate" AQI. The CPCB reports that around 6 am on Monday, the AQI was recorded at 242. The weather is gradually changing as well, even though the AQI is still fluctuating. With a highest recorded temperature of 23.7°C on Sunday—1.6°C above the average—it appears that the chilly influence is progressively waning. The minimum temperatures over Delhi/NCR have dropped by as much as 1°C over the last 24 hours, according to observations from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

IMD Weather Forecast For Delhi

Over Delhi, the current high and low temperatures are between 21 and 24°C and 7 and 8°C, respectively. This data shows that the weather is changing from winter to milder season. The chilly nights and mornings, meanwhile, imply that the cold is still present. However, the fact that the daytime high of 21–24 degrees Celsius indicates that the temperature is rising.
With a maximum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius and a low temperature of 8 degrees, the IMD has forecast mostly clear skies for Monday, January 27. Mist is probably present in the morning. The IMD has not issued any special weather warnings for Delhi.

Delhi Pollution: AQI Forecast

Regarding the AQI's future, the Delhi Air Quality Early Warning System has forecast that it will most certainly remain in the Poor category from January 27 to 28. Additionally, the air quality is probably going to be in the Poor to Very Poor range for the next six days.
