Two new voice-only prepaid plans were recently introduced by Reliance's telecom division Jio in accordance with current rules from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). These plans are specifically tailored for users who primarily depend on calling and SMS services. The cost of these plans has recently been lowered by the company. Airtel previously lowered the cost of its prepaid plans that simply included voice and SMS.

Additionally, these reasonably priced plans include limitless calling privileges and long-term validity, satisfying the needs of consumers looking for inexpensive SMS and voice solutions. Similarly, Jio's new plans give customers more freedom and cost savings by allowing them to pay only for voice and SMS services—not data.

Jio: Newest Plans With Just Voice Calls
While Jio's Rs 448 recharge plan includes 84 days of validity, unlimited phone calls, free nationwide roaming, 1,000 free SMS, and access to Jio Cinema and its TV apps, it excludes mobile data advantages. Previously, this plan cost Rs 458.

In addition to unlimited phone calls, free nationwide roaming, 3,600 free SMS, and free access to Jio Cinema and its TV apps, Jio's Rs 1,748 recharge plan has a 336-day validity period and no mobile data perks. Jio initially charged Rs 1,958 for this plan, which now has a 365-day validity period.

Plan Removal

The company has discontinued its current plans, which were priced at Rs 1,899 (which included 24GB of data and a validity of 336 days) and Rs 479 (which included 6GB of data and a validity of 84 days), when these new plans are introduced.
